This unique and comprehensive two-day conference will provide an opportunity for participants to explore cutting edge theory and practice in the field of Latino mental health. Recent developments in Latino counseling will be examined, including theories that conceptualize Latino issues in terms of reconstruction and support of the family. To facilitate the application of new concepts, each day will include opportunities for discussion, and guided reflection.

Holliswood Hospital is a modern 100-bed private psychiatric hospital located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Queens, New York. The facility treats patients with a broad range of psychiatric disorders. Inpatient Treatment: Adolescent Program, Adult Program, Geriatric-Psych Program, Crisis Evaluation, Intensive Treatment Program, and Adult Partial Hospitalization Program.
